        "Hi: I replaced the carburetor Friday evening and Saturday morning finished the project. Before noon I was on the "road again". With $5.00 worth of gasoline I drove around all afternoon and enjoyed the ride with the car. The car started without a problem. No longer the old smelly Stromberg and the bad gas-milage. I did not have the time to record the actual gas-milage but it is better than before. Money well spent, and I would recommend your product to any old car owner who wants to keep his car and wants to improve the gas-milage as well. 280 MBZ (Junkyard JAM Holley)

I have a 1975 280S Benz, and like Christine in the Stephen King novel, its promise was also twenty years ago. Friends had dubbed it "Satan" because it truly seemed possesed. A few weeks ago I had decided to bite the bullet and go after an old Solex body, hoping in the course of the rebuild I would end up with just enough unwarped parts to make one passable carburetor. I walked into the dismantler stated my request and his reply was, "I have a Holley if you're interested." It came off a salvage car. I took it home bolted it onto Satan and barring a couple of minor points he is purring like a kitten. Me, well, I'm enjoying driving again after many months of fear and loathing, dread and disappointment. Thank you, a thousand times over! Prior to bolting it onto Satan I dropped a few e-notes basically qwerying the Holley website for info about the 4360 I had just gotten. Fast forward a week and I get an e-note from Holley saying to contact you folks and I did. My thanks again!

        "I purchased the C-503, almost a year ago, and installed it on my Mercedes 230, which is also a 4 speed manual trans. I only get 41mpg, and my dealer is trying to get me to trade it in on one that won't give me half that mileage. I am having a ball with all the power and speed, it is better than my 450 SEL. You got a real winner with this C-503, keep up the excellent work."

        Overall, the kit was well-worth the expense and time. I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone with a similar application. I was very pleased with the support I got from John Moulton @ JAM, and their response time to my needs and inquiries was far above average for the many aftermarket parts suppliers I have dealt with in the past. I love how smooth my car runs now, and the underhood appearance impresses me so much that I actually like to show off my engine compartment now. Keep up the good work, and God bless JAM for creating a kit of such great utility and ease of installation.
